You are our landlord. We are your tenant. The lease works the way any lease works – a fixed monthly payment, on the first, for the full term. What we do inside the property is our business risk, not yours.

Three straightforward steps from agreement to ongoing tenancy.

We Agree Terms

A standard residential lease is agreed for approximately 12–36 months at an agreed rent. Shiok Haus handles the paperwork, insurance, and required property approvals.

We Furnish and Maintain It

Furniture, linens, and setup are handled at Shiok Haus’s cost. Utilities, internet, cleaning, and routine maintenance are managed and paid by Shiok Haus.

You Get Paid

Rent arrives on the first of every month for the lease term. Vacancy, seasonality, and slower months remain Shiok Haus’s business risk, not the landlord’s.

Shiok Haus is a family business, built around careful documentation, clear obligations, and long-term thinking.

Sherlyn spent over fifteen years in regulated financial-crime compliance, where accuracy, deadlines, and documented processes are fundamental. She runs Shiok Haus the same way.

Eugene served ten years in the Singapore Armed Forces, then spent six years as a project manager in the building and construction industry. He later earned his doctorate and now works as an academic researcher and professor.
